MTF Prelimanary Task

Our Prelimanary Task was to create a short 2 mjnute clip which included several filming techniques.

180 Degree Rule we did not take this
into consideration as it was not neccesary due to the scale of the 180 degree rule being what we normally would film in. Crossing is a very important concept in video and film production. We was able to keep this rule and did not exceed the line so our footage included the 180 Degree rule.

The Zoom Shot was an important part in our film. When it showed Cliffords (Actor) Iphone it made the sequence make more sense to the audience, they knew what we was talking about before and it created a effect to our film that made it realistic.

Shot Reverse Shot is a film technique where one character is shown looking at another character (often off-screen), and then the other character is shown looking back at the first character. Since the characters are shown facing in opposite directions, the viewer assumes that they are looking at each other.

I was an actor in the footage and had a first up glance of shot reverse shot, afterwards when seeing the editing i could see the powerful effect shot reverse shot had on our filming. It made the film more realistic and improved the quality of it.

If i had to change anything about our play it would be to swap roles. So maybe i as an actor could let the director (Gabriel Preston) have a Go at acting and for me to film. This way we could Both add diffrent filming of the footage together and mix them seeing what the best outcome would be for our sequence.
